The 75th Annual Congress of the French Society of Phlebology (SFP) will take place at the Pullman Paris Centre Bercy from December 8 to 10, 2016. divine [id] agency is proud to organize this event for the first time, which will be based this year on the theme of “An optimized standard approach to phlebological practices“.
Many national and international experts, including the leading representatives of the International Union of Phlebology (UIP), will be meeting to compare French practices and expertise with the ones in other countries. Marianne De Maeseneer (The Netherlands), Vice-President of UIP, and Nick Morrison (USA), President of UIP, are doing us a great honour in chairing this congress. The SFP, thanks to Raymond Tournay, has largely contributed to the creation of UIP in 1947: “We must reunite more broadly with the international community, as the exchange of ideas and practices contributes to improvement in the management of patients.”
Phlebology has progressed very fast in the last few years, whether in the domain of the deep or superficial vein. In order to not be overrun by technology, this congress will allow the experts to make the best use of common sense, while optimizing daily practices for the wellbeing of the patients. They will be able to discuss and decide together the best way to improve phlebology.
