Marseille-Provence with Art, a love story that persists
Is MP2018 a replica of MP2013? Marseille-Provence capitalizes on its success by combining the talents of the various local players again, five years after the European Capital of Culture Year, like Lille.
The national image gain, the European influence and the overall attractiveness of the territory (the Metropole Aix-Marseille-Provence) are undeniable.
This is why the Marseille-Provence Chamber of Commerce and Industry, founding member of the MP Culture association (created in January 2017), is carrying the project Marseille-Provence 2018, Quel Amour ! and engaging with its institutional partners.
MP Culture is responsible for coordinating and organizing events under the positive and unifying theme of “Love”, which will naturally begin on Valentine’s Day on February 14, 2018.
For example, the La Criée theater will host a reworking of the Preljocaj ballet of Romeo and Juliet and the MuCEM will dedicate a temporary exhibition on the subject of the photo-novel.
