The Festival of Marseille (Dance and multiple Arts), a bold and multidisciplinary program, a bias for the creation
Established in 1996, this 19th edition will move into new emblematic places of the city from June 19 to July 12, making access to culture for all a priority.
As every year, the festival offers a varied program including dance, music, digital arts, theater (plays), installations, performances and movies… artists from South Africa, Germany, Belgium, United States, France, Israel, Japan and Sweden.
Focus on the opening night, Thursday June 19, at 9pm, at the Silo, with Vertigo 20
To celebrate the 20th anniversary of the Vertigo Dance Company, the choreographer Noa Wertheim reinterprets his iconic creations. A mystical, lyrical and musical show just as a celebration should be. It will be a first in France especially for the opening of the 19th edition!
The festival of Marseille will also feature flamenco represented by the Bosque Ardora by Rocio Molina, on Saturday July 12, at 9pm, at the Silo.
Icon of contemporary flamenco, this young Andalusian returns to Marseille with a new creation. A sound and telluric poem depicting his amazing ability to assimilate traditions remote from his art …
