Located on the « Canebière » near the Old Port, the Tourist Office and Convention Bureau of Marseille aims not only to welcome the tourists but also to promote the national and international business tourism.
That’s why each year it participates in thirty international professional trade fairs and public shows while forging a close relationship with the media and local companies.
As our agency – divine [id] – is a PCO member (Professional Congress Organizer) from Marseille Congress Association together with the biggest agencies in the city, they assist us in achieving our projects, give us information about the latest tenders and suggest new themes for our MICE events. We are also part of its strategic committee which gathers regularly in order to professionalize the role of Marseille.
That’s how they create a synergy between all the local players, whether they are tourist institutional bodies (like the French agency for tourism development ‘Atout France’ to which we also registered) or tourism professionals (eg. Marseille Provence Airport …).
Since February 2004, the Tourist Office and Convention Bureau of Marseille has been approved by the AFNOR (NF X 50-730) for its service “reception & information center” and since 2011 for “advertising and marketing”. It has also been approved by the « Tourism & Handicap » certification.
