A unique initiative in the health sector
Eucomed, the European Association of Medical Device Companies, launched in 2012, the Conference Vetting System. CVS is a department that examines and approves educational conferences in accordance with the ethics of Eucomed Code.
For each European event, divine [id] applies Eucomed for approval. CVS, centralized at the European level by the platform EthicalMedTech system, examines the compliance of educational seminars and conferences with the Eucomed Code. The system operates independently to ensure the objectivity of the evaluation.
Because health professionals are often sponsored by the medical industry to attend medical conferences and thus promotes the advancement of research, it is essential that this sponsorship is the most ethically consistent and transparent possible.
MedTech Europe is committed to respect the highest ethical standards in relation with the Industry and HCP (Health Care Professionals).
European conformity is changing rapidly. Some countries regulate sponsorship by measures of complete bans, while others have opted for different levels of requirements for transparency and disclosure.
